Project Overview
Sea Clouds supported remedial nearshore works on the Ostwind 3 (OW3) offshore wind project in the German Baltic Sea, at the points where the export cable route crosses the NordStream pipelines NSP1 and NSP2. Engaged for the dredging and concrete mattress installation campaign carried out in May–June 2026, Sea Clouds worked under main subcontractor DCN Diving for client 50Hertz Offshore GmbH for diver's dredging and mattress installation. Following completion of the works, Sea Clouds compiled and delivered the formal Works Completion Report documenting the remedial campaign for client submission.
Scope of Work
  • Provision of installation documentation incl., but not limited to, diving procedures, dredging and mattress installation procedures, anchor handling manual
  • Responsible for vessels mobilisation activities
  • Interface and management of anchor handling analysis provider
  • Provision of site manager responsible for management of entire marine spread: diving support vessel, anchor handler, crew change vessel and survey vessel
  • Management of entire project personnel
  • Management of daily activities incl. subsea diving operations, MBES survey, AHT, crew change and logistic coordination
  • Interface with local agent and port authority
  • Dredging operations at the NSP1 and NSP2 pipeline crossings
  • Concrete mattress installation over the cable and pipeline crossings
  • Daily production and QHSE reporting throughout the campaign
  • Coordination with client 50Hertz Offshore GmbH and main contractor ASSO Subsea
  • Compilation of the Works Completion Report for the remedial campaign
